One week later and I am finally getting some pictures up from the Columbia Gorge Fiber Festival. Here is the bluegirl knits booth, which I shared with Sarah from Knot Another Hat (check out her new website by the way-it's pretty).

We had a great trip to Ikea, where we found lots of ideas for putting our booth together. I think it looks rather lovely. Speaking of lovely, here is a shot of Sarah striking a pose!

And some more booth...

Check out the beautiful yarn in the hanging cubes. Sarah decided to feature Shibui Knits' yarns at the festival and they were just gorgeous.
And check out those pattern displays in the left hand corner of the picture. Another almost great design by mancake. He has a little tweaking to do after their first test run, but I love the way the patterns were all out on display! Thank you MC.
I bought some great yarn as well, because I just could not help myself. On the right in the greens, is a skein from Lisa at Dicentra Designs. Man she gets color! Her yarns are so vibrant and intense and she is sweetheart! On the left in the blues, is a beautiful hand spun merino/angora blend from Newhue Handspun Yarns. This yarn is definitely going to be some kind of neck thingy. I love the bunny!

This was my first retail show ever and it was a lot of fun. If you did not get a chance to go this year, make sure to check out next year!
