
Twining is also called "2-end knitting". It's an old Scandinavian knitting technique where both the inside of the skein and outside of the skein are intermittently used, twisting the stitches as you go. It's extremely soft and wind-resistant - and double thick. Perfect for windy, cold winters!
Knitters should be comfortable knitting, purling, and have knit at least one basic hat.

Knit to Fit is a three hour workshop focusing on knitting garments to fit your body. Sarah Keller and Nichole Reese, will focus on tips and techniques for knitting garments that will fit. Topics covered will include choosing the right size to knit and customizing your knits to fit your body type. Knit to Fit will also teach students about different sweater types, styles and why or why not they may be flattering. You will learn how to take your measurements and how to choose the right type and weight of yarn for your projects. Included is a comprehensive handout of everything covered in this workshop.
Come learn the fun and interesting technique of Brioche knitting. We will learn the basics of how to execute the Brioche stitch and work swatches in plain Brioche stitch in one color and two colors as well as learning to knit brioche in the round. The instructor will provide all charts for working the different Brioche stitch patterns.
