Gathering Mitts

An inner felted mitt and outer lace mitt combine to make this unique and intriguing combination. Knit together, the inner mitt uses feltable wool and the outer mitt uses superwash wool. Just throw in the washing machine and the inner mitt felts, but the outer mitts remains the same. 2 pairs of mitts can be made from the yarn for 1.

1(1) skein Malabrigo Worsted (100% merino wool) (210 yds/100 g) #512 Chestnut (Seleccion  Privada S)- MC
1(1) skein Malabrigo Rios (100% merino superwash wool) (210 yds/100 g) #869 Cumparcita (#150 Azul Profundo) -CC
2 16” circular needles, size US 10 ½ (6.5mm) or 1 set 5 dpns, size US 10 ½ (6.5 mm) &
2 spare needles similar in size

15 sts and 22 rows to 4 ins in St st in Worsted before felting
14 sts and 23. rows to 4 ins in Rios in Star Mesh Pattern
